Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Richmond College, now the University of Richmond, on November 1st, 1901, on the Cardinal Principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Today, the Fraternity has grown to more than 309,000 lifetime members, including 15,000 undergraduates on 240 campuses in the United States.
About NC Beta
The NC Beta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded on March 4th, 1905 by William F. Brock, Lacy Moore, Jokton L. Hemphill, Robert P. Uzzell, and Joseph P. Lovill. It was the 15th Chartered Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon and is currently the 4th oldest chapter based on total years of operation.
